Custom Hardwood

We have three different sawmills, all for a different purpose, we have a baker bluestreak which is mostly for our dimensional products.
We have a woodmizer 1000 for our production slabs (Things like live-edge tables, bar tops, islands, etc).

And we have our Trucut 96 for the really wild stuff. things other mills can’t cut because they are too big!

At any one time we have over 1,000 slabs air drying, and 1,000 slabs dried and ready for finish.

If we don’t have what you are looking for in the size you need, then just give us two months, and often we can have it cut and dried ready for you to use!

We can ship nationwide, and depending on state laws can custom cut and deliver any of the domestic species we have in the state.

We dry our slabs and dimensional lumber to 10% or less, and have great flexibility due to our idry kilns, and other conventional methods.

Large Live Edge Slabs

This is where you see the natural beauty of its shape when it was a tree. Each piece is unique, great for when you need to make a statement. Because we are rescuing the largest trees we can find from the landfill often they have defects that have to be filled with epoxy, but that only adds to the beauty of the wood grain, and the uniqueness of each piece.

We cut for several large woodshops in the area. Whatever your need is, we are happy to supply, whether it is oak, walnut, ash, maple, elm, poplar or cherry. We have access to logs all throughout Maryland. And we have the equipment to supply your wood on time, and in excellent condition. With three sawmills onsite we can cut all the way up to 8' wide, and 35' long. We have the equipment and the knowledge to provide wood for just about any project. If you have been holding on to a log that you would love to mill, give us a call!

Dry and ready for your next project

Everything in the warehouse is dried below 12% and surfaced. But if you want to take slabs green, we can get you a fantastic deal, most species are $5 or less a bf for green slabs.

We have over 20 different domestic species at any time.

Don’t forget, if you need something specific. Just get us an order and we will find the logs and cut to spec for you. We are a fully custom mill, and we have a large surfacer, 4 sided plane/molder, and a industrial widebelt sander/planer. If it’s wood, we can get it done!
