This style of mantel follows the natural outside edge of the tree, and will have organic curves on the outside edge. The side facing the wall will be cut square, as will either end. There will be a slight difference in the thickness of the mantel no more than 1” variance from side to side. This is for a more visually interesting and organic look for your mantel.
