Community Tables
Community tables are built for gathering. Whether used in a restaurant, fire house, brewery, office, church, clubhouse, or shared workspace, these larger-format tables create a natural place for people to sit together, share a meal, hold a meeting, or connect throughout the day.
Community Table Design
Custom Size & Seating Layouts
Each community table can be built around the number of people it needs to serve and the way the space is used. Options can include long communal dining tables, large breakroom tables, meeting tables, family-style restaurant tables, fire house dining tables, or shared work tables designed for daily use.
Shape & Style Options
Community tables can be built in clean rectangular layouts, wider banquet-style formats, live edge designs, dimensional hardwood tops, or epoxy-accented pieces. The design can feel rustic and welcoming, clean and modern, or bold and substantial depending on the atmosphere of the space.
Built for Daily Use
A community table needs to feel inviting, but it also needs to hold up. These tables can be designed with durable hardwood, strong bases, comfortable seating clearances, softened edges, and finish options selected for frequent meals, meetings, events, and everyday wear.
Bases, Legs & Support Options
The base can be tailored to the size and function of the table. Options can include trestle bases, pedestal bases, steel legs, wood legs, stretcher bases, X-bases, or custom supports designed for stability, legroom, and long-term durability.
Design Details
Custom details can help the table feel specific to the organization or space. Options can include branded engraving, fire house numbers, department logos, company marks, epoxy-filled details, meaningful inlays, live edge character, or wood selected for a specific story or local connection.
Premium Wood & Finish Options
Because we mill all of our own wood, each community table can begin with material selected for the right scale, strength, grain, and character. Ash, cedar, cherry, maple, walnut, elm, tulip poplar, and other hardwoods can be finished with our preferred UV-light-cured hard wax oil for a natural, durable, easy-to-maintain surface. Stains and epoxy details can also be used when a specific color, sheen, or design effect is desired.
