Milling, Drying, Surfacing & Sanding
Our sawmill services are built to support builders, woodworkers, contractors, designers, and homeowners who need access to custom-milled material and large-scale wood processing. Whether you have logs that need to be broken down, slabs that need to be surfaced, lumber that needs to be kiln dried, or oversized material that requires specialized equipment, we can help turn raw wood into usable, workable stock.
With large-format milling, surfacing, sanding, kiln drying, CNC, and engraving capabilities, Makers Woodshop can help bridge the gap between raw material and finished project — giving professionals and makers access to equipment, scale, and processing capacity that most shops do not have in-house.

Live-Edge & Dimensional Wood Sourcing
Need the right material for your next project? Makers Woodshop is the source of locally milled hardwood for builders, woodworkers, designers, and makers looking for something beyond standard lumberyard stock. Because our wood is milled in Maryland from responsibly sourced urban lumber, we can offer access to unique live edge slabs, dimensional hardwood, wide boards, and character-rich material in species like ash, cedar, cherry, maple, walnut, elm, tulip poplar, and more. Whether you need a single statement slab, multiple boards for a build, or help finding material with the right size, grain, and character, we can help connect you with wood that fits the project.
