Live Edge Bars
Live edge restaurant bars bring the natural shape, movement, and character of the tree directly into the guest experience. Every curve, grain pattern, knot, and edge becomes part of the design, creating a bar that feels warm, substantial, and unmistakably one of a kind.

Custom Layouts for Your Space
Live edge bars can be designed around the scale and flow of the restaurant, from straight bar tops and corner bars to L-shaped, wraparound, or multi-section layouts. The natural edge can be featured on the guest side, bartender side, or both, depending on the space and the visual impact desired.
Premium Wood Selection
Live edge bars are especially dependent on the right slab. Ash, walnut, cherry, maple, elm, cedar, tulip poplar, and other hardwoods each bring a different grain pattern, color, and personality to the finished piece. Because we mill much of our own wood, we can work with larger slabs, unusual widths, and more custom dimensions, making it possible to build a restaurant bar that feels truly specific to the space.
Optimize Functional Features
A live edge bar can still be fully tailored for commercial performance. Beer tap openings, sink cutouts, drip trays, glass rinser locations, POS access, service areas, and underbar equipment clearances can all be worked into the design so the bar remains beautiful, efficient, and practical for daily restaurant use.
Add Personalized Designs
Natural cracks, knots, and voids can be stabilized with clear, black, or color-matched epoxy while preserving the character of the slab. Additional options can include branded engraving, logo inlays, backlit epoxy features, drink rails, custom edge shaping, or matching shelves and back bars to carry the same material story through the space.
Explore Finish Options
For restaurant environments, the finish needs to stand up to spills, cleaning, food service, and constant use. Our preferred UV-light-cured hard wax oil gives live edge wood a natural, rich appearance while creating a durable, food-safe surface that is easy to maintain and touch up over time. Epoxy flood coating and stains are also available when a different sheen, color, or thicker protective layer is needed.
