About The Beech Species

Beech wood is a light colored hardwood that comes from the beech wood species. Beech trees are deciduous plant that are part of the Fagaceae family. They are believed to be one of the most majestic and remarkable varieties of trees. Beech trees are native to regions of North America, Europe and Asia. These trees are slow growing but can live to over 400 years. The biggest quality of beech wood is that it is odorless. Beech wood is typically a pale cream color with pinkish-brown hues and slightly coarse with conspicuous rays and tiny pores. The grain is straight with a fine, even texture.
